As quoted from Antara News Agency, a number of automotive communities in Riau Province who are members of Mayday Mayday Riau raised funds for earthquake victims in Cianjur, West Java, on Sunday at a number of points in Pekanbaru City.
The automotive communities include Teruci, Scoci, LRC, TDF, KPMKSGTI, SOCNusantara, and DASI.
The automotive club members were scattered at several red light intersections in the capital city of Riau Province.
Hendra, a member of Teruci Chapter Lancang Kuning (chaplaku) Riau, said he was happy to take part in the fundraising social action to help the earthquake victims in Cianjur.
"I like this (helping with fundraising)," said the man from Air Hitam Pekanbaru.
Meanwhile, Kumendan Teruci Chaplaku, Budi Hamidi, mentioned a number of fundraising points, including Tengku Bay red light intersection, Kelapa Sawi red light intersection, Singunggung red light intersection, and Bukit Barisan red light intersection.
He said the money collected in the fundraising action would later be handed over to disaster victims in order to ease their burden.
"If not us, who else cares. If not now, then when," Budi said encouragingly.
