Yamaha Launches New Electric Motorcycle

Recently, Yamaha officially launched a new electric motorcycle designed with a scooter model.

Yamaha has just released a new electric motorcycle called the Yamaha Neo. This electric motorcycle was officially launched in Vietnam by Yamaha Motor Vietnam, on December 30, 2022.

This new electric motorcycle from Yamaha is priced at 50,000,000 Vietnamese Dong, or around Rp32.9 million at the Rupiah exchange rate when this article was made.

From the official press statement issued by Yamaha Vietnam, it is explained that this Yamaha Neo uses an exclusive design from Yamaha.

The electric motor or dynamo used is the latest generation named YIPU 2.

This 2nd generation YIPU machine uses a motor that becomes one with the rear wheel.

Section controller pinned on the left swing arm which at first glance is shaped like cover CVT in a conventional matic motorcycle.

Due to the part of the motor that is fused to the rear wheel, Yamaha designed a practical system for tire changes.

For practicality, the motor is simply connected to the rear wheel using bolts, making it easy to disassemble.

Yamaha Neo itself is an electric motorcycle produced in Vietnam, which will also be exported to several countries in Europe.

In full battery condition, the Yamaha Neo is claimed to be able to travel up to 72 km.

In Vietnam, consumers interested in this electric motorcycle are given three color options: black, white, and blue. If this motorcycle was released in Indonesia, what would you think?
