Yamaha Indonesia has just spread teaser new motor on its official account that the Grand Filano 125 retro scooter is launching in the near future.
The information can be checked directly to the official Instagram @yamahaindonesia, in the form of a short video that appeared since January 14, 2022.
It contains the words "Are you ready?" and "Coming Soon January 17, 2022" along with bright graphics with blue ribbons and spotlights.
As quoted from GridOto.com, for information, on the same date there will also be a Yamaha MotoGP team launch which will also take place in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Although it does not appear clearly what the motorcycle is, but from the leaks circulating Yamaha will launch a classic design motorcycle with the Fazzio 125 Hybrid engine.
The retro bike will be the second product of Yamaha's Classy segment, after the Fazzio 125 Hybrid which launched in January 2022.
Already eagerly awaited by Indonesian bikers, the motorcycle was rumored to be present last year during the IMOS 2022 exhibition.
However, this time it seems that its presence is confirmed, but not under the name Yamaha Grande as it appeared in Vietnam.
But it will be called the Yamaha Grand Filano, as it is available in the Thai market today and also its predecessor that had entered the country.
Using the same Blue Core labeled engine base as the Yamaha Fazzio, the full name is Yamaha Grand Filano Hybrid Connected.
It is 125 cc SOHC 2 valve air-cooled with an injection system, powered by 8.3 dk @ 6,500 rpm with 10.4 Nm of torque @ 5,000 rpm.
Features include a smart key system, stop & smart system, one push start, side stand switch, and digital instrument panel with Y-Connect.
In terms of completeness, it uses full LED lights, power outlets, and a 27-liter seat trunk which is also equipped with LED lights and available types with ABS brakes.
Speaking of prices, the Yamaha Grande in Vietnam is sold at the equivalent of Rp 29-33 million and the Yamaha Grand Filano in Thailand costs the equivalent of Rp 29-31 million.
