The Wuling Almaz Indonesia (WALI) car community celebrated its 2nd anniversary on Sunday (19/9/2021). Because it is still in a pandemic atmosphere, the celebration was held virtually.
Although virtual, the celebration was lively and attended by hundreds of members. "Today we happy because 430 members participated. It exceeded our expectations too," said WALI Chairman Andrian Salim Ngatio in his official statement, Tuesday (21/9/2021).
The man who is familiarly called Om Jerry said that the main purpose of holding WALI's 2nd Anniversary celebration was to make the members more familiar with the car community they oversee.
"Our main goal is how friends who may not know WALI get to know WALI," he said.
A competition to promote the tourism, culinary and cultural richness of each chapter across Indonesia was part of WALI's 2nd anniversary.
Of the 16 videos submitted, 5 videos were selected as winners, namely chapter Bogor, chapter Jakarta, chapter DIY, chapter Tangerang and the first place was won by chapter East Java.
"The first winner gets Rp5 million rupiah," said Om Jerry.
Despite being only a year old, WALI's 2nd anniversary celebration was lavish. It was marked by many door prizeIn fact, the total prizes prepared reached 50 million.
For your information, a community with 2100 members and 28 chapter will be touring Sulawesi in the near future.
"We hope WALI remains solid and we urge and invite, let's be together with WALI, we are a community to stay in touch, happy and beneficial for members and the people of Indonesia," concluded Om Jerry.
