In the near future, the Toyota Fortuner Club of Indonesia (ID42NER) plans to organize a National Jamboree (Jamnas) as well as celebrate their 15th anniversary.
The plan is to hold the Jamnas in Palembang, South Sumatra, on May 26-28, 2022.
"This 3rd Jamnas carries the theme of Reviving Tourism and MSMEs against the Impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic with ID42NER. This kind of activity was first held in Sumatra," said ID42NER President Ary Yunanto in his official statement, Monday (23/5/2022).
Adhe Nugroho, Chief Executive of the 3rd Jamnas and 15th Anniversary of ID42NER said that the activities that will be organized by the community carry a mission to have a little positive effect on the tourism and economic sectors in Palembang City.
"We are optimistic that our activities will have a positive impact on tourism promotion and the rise of the economy for MSME players, especially in the Palembang area," said Adhe.
As a step to have a positive impact on the tourism and economic sectors in Palembang, the committee also plans to facilitate MSMEs to participate in the event.
ID42NER management has also appealed to participants who will attend, to take the time to visit a number of tourist sites in Palembang and buy a variety of crafts or food typical of Bumi Sriwijaya.
"Palembang has many interesting tourist sites, such as Ampera Bridge, Kuto Besak Fort, Cheng Ho Mosque, Punti Kayu Nature Park, and Balaputradeva Museum. In addition, we are also familiar with many delicious Palembang specialties, such as pempek, tekwan, celor noodles, lempok durian, and tempoyak," he said.
Adhe emphasized that the participants of the 3rd Jamnas and 15th Anniversary of id42ner have been ordered to obey traffic rules on the road and maintain strict health protocols.
"We also apologize to the people of Palembang City if there will be a little congestion from the accompaniment of the group of participants," he concluded.
