There are Emak-Emak buying PCX using small change in Banyuwangi

Recently, there was a stir caused by an emak-emak. There was an emak-emak from Banyuwangi, East Java, who made dealer employees surprised because she bought a Honda PCX 160 in cash with small change.

The great emak-emak is named Dartik (47), a resident of Sumbersewu Village, Muncar District, Banyuwangi Regency. She bought a Honda PCX 160 at a dealer in Rogojampi District on Tuesday (13/12/2022).

Interestingly, the change he brought to buy a Honda PCX 160 was the result of four years of savings.

As quoted from GridOto.com, Dartik works as a fried food seller by day and has been saving money to buy a new motorcycle.

His savings consist of small change, such as coins of Rp 500 and Rp 1,000 and notes of Rp 2,000 which he collects in a gallon.

"I have been storing it in gallons for four years," said Dartik.

She also does not target the money she has to save, sometimes it can be 25,000 rupiah per day and can only save 5,000 rupiah.

Sometimes the fried food seller also doesn't save at all, because he doesn't have any change to spare.

"So if I have spare change, I immediately put it in the gallon," said Dartik.

Dartik added that he deliberately saves with small change so that he is not tempted to take it when he is saving.

Then after four years, he felt that the money in his gallon had reached tens of millions of rupiah.

So he decided to go to the dealer and ask the price of the Honda PCX 160 that he had been eyeing.

"I told the dealer that my money was small change, but they welcomed me and told me to bring it there," he explains.

Dartik immediately took the money in the gallon to the dealer he had contacted.

He didn't even have time to count the money he had collected, so that the dealer wouldn't wait too long.

"I don't want to bother, you can just count it at the dealer," he continued.

After being counted at the delaer, he was surprised that his savings reached Rp 30 million.

Automatically, Dartik only needs to add a little to be able to bring the Honda PCX 160 that he has been eyeing.

"I use the motorcycle myself, because I already have another motorcycle at home, although it is not in good condition," he concluded.
