The arrogant impression that is often attached to motorcycle kids should be reviewed. Who says motorcycle kids are all arrogant? Not really, for example bikers in Jayapura City, Papua. Bikers who are members of various clubs in Jayapura carried out food distribution to improve the nutrition of residents in Mosso Village, on Sunday, July 18, 2021.
By collaborating with the TNI Pamtas Ri-PNG Task Force Yonif 131 / BTS Pos Mosso, 30 bikers consisting of members of the HPCI Chapter Jayapura, VHC Jayapura, JBI Kenambai Umbai Sentani, and SHSCJ clubs, compactly conducted social services around the village located on the border of Indonesia with Papua New Guinea.
"Mosso Village has long been used as a place for the bikers As a target of social service together with the TNI Task Force here, the Jayapura HPCI Chapter club has participated in creating a reading park in this village," said Glenn Siantari from VHC as one of the coordinators in this event, quoted from Tribun-Papua.com.
Furthermore, as the host, Danpos TNI Mosso, Lieutenant Inf Eri Hermawan, expressed his gratitude for the concern of Bikers Jayapura. "Later we will cook this food and then distribute it to residents around the village to improve the nutrition of each child and family living around the border area with Papua New Guinea," said Eri.
He added that for more than two months now, he has been cooking for the residents of Mosso Village, especially every Friday, which he named Friday Blessing.
"Yes, this is our dedication to the villagers, because we are given the opportunity to serve here, the villagers are also very happy for our presence," concluded the man who came from Payakumbuh City, West Sumatra.
For information, Mosso Village, located in Muara Tami District, Jayapura City, has around 300 residents who live around the border with Papua New Guinea.
Hopefully the bikers all over Indonesia, more and more people are taking initiatives like the bikers from Papua. Moreover, in the midst of a pandemic-affected world like today, many people need help.
