Rumors have been circulating that during the Lebaran homecoming period this year, homecoming will be allowed again by the government.
Quoting news from Kompas TV, Vice President of Indonesia, Ma'ruf Amin, revealed that Lebaran homecoming will likely be allowed this year.
"If there are no spikes and the atmosphere is sloping like now," he said, Wednesday (3/23/2022).
According to him, if conditions allow for free homecoming, there are several conditions that must be met.
Such as Covid-19 vaccination at least twice.
In fact, there are plans to make the vaccine booster as a condition of homecoming.
"Later booster We want to make it a requirement if people want to go home," said the vice president.
The hope is that with the distribution of boosters, people will not need to do a Covid-19 test later before traveling.

"In addition to complete vaccinations, twice, it must also have been vaccinated.booster so that people who want to go home in the future no longer need any kind of di-PCR or di-.antigen," he said.
Just a reminder, in 2021, the government declared a ban on Lebaran 2021 homecoming on May 6-17, 2021.
To anticipate violators, the government has also increased the rules by promoting travel restrictions.
The provisions for the elimination of going home and tightening travel are contained in the Circular Letter of the Covid-19 Handling Task Force Number 13 of 2021.
The purpose of the regulation is to reduce the spread of the Covid-19 virus, which is currently high, so that it does not peak.
