
After officially withdrawing from MotoGP and FIM Endurance World Championship (EWC) racing, the Suzuki Hayabusa GP Edition was officially launched.

In terms of appearance, the Suzuki Hayabusa GP Edition is covered in colors, graphics and sponsor stickers typical of Suzuki Ecstar MotoGP racing team bikes.
Detailed in silver blue, there is a choice of red accents with Alex Rins' race number 42 or yellow with Joan Mir's race number 36.
Not only does it maximize the appearance, the Hayabusa GP Edition also seems to have adjustments in its specs so that it turns like a racing bike.
Because the headlamp, turn signals, mirrors, absentee license plate holder, and exhaust installed. full Akrapovic system replaces the default exhaust.
With the reduction of the above equipment, the weight of the motorcycle is of course lighter, but it cannot be used on the highway like the standard version.
In terms of technical specs, it's still identical to the standard Hayabusa, which has a 1,340 cc DOHC 4-cylinder in-line engine with 188 horsepower @ 9,700 rpm and 150 Nm of torque @ 7,000 rpm.
Currently, the Suzuki Hayabusa GP Edition motorcycle is on display at the Autolook Week Torino Festival, located in Turin, Italy until September 11, 2022.
It is not yet certain whether the motorcycle is only for display, or how many units are available if it will be sold to the market.
The exhibition was also organized to celebrate the end of the San Marino GP racing session that took place last weekend.
Also on display were Suzuki's legendary 2-stroke racing bikes such as the RG500 and of course Alex Rins' and Joan Mir's GSX-RRs used in MotoGP.
Suzuki has also previously launched a special edition Hayabusa as a parting gift for Sylvain Guintoli, rider of Suzuki's FIM EWC team.
