Driver's license expires during PPKM, don't worry!

During the implementation of this emergency community activity restriction (PPKM), many community activities and needs have become constrained. In fact, some government agencies and offices must also reduce the number of crew members on standby. Therefore, many community service needs are affected. One of them is the making and renewal of driving licenses (SIM).

However, for SIM owners who expire on July 3 to 20, they can still extend through the National SIM Persisi (SINAR) application. This was conveyed directly by the Head of Driver Standardization Section of the SIM Subdit Ditregident Korlantas Polri, AKBP Arief Budiman.

"You can still extend it through the application. This is precisely our goal in innovating to build the SINAR application," said Arief.

According to Arief Budiman, the renewal of people's driver's licenses can be taken care of by downloading the SINAR application through their respective mobile phones. After that, the applicant is invited to follow the procedure for making a SIM in the application. Once completed, the license will be delivered to the address of the applicant.

"The driver's license can be sent directly because we cooperate with the post office," Arief added.

Currently, the SINAR app is available for Android and iPhone mobile services. According to Arief, Indonesian citizens who are abroad can also access this service. Hopefully, this service can accommodate the needs of Indonesians who want to extend their driver's license effectively and concisely.
