Recently, Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya is committed to providing maximum service. This maximum service is evidenced by the continued operation of mobile SIM service outlets for people who want to take care of extending the validity period of their driving licenses (SIM). This was announced in Jakarta, Tuesday (9/11/2021).
SIM holders who wish to extend their validity period are asked to follow health protocols, such as wearing masks and maintaining a safe distance.
The mobile SIM service time will start at 08.00 WIB until 14.00 WIB.
The Mobile SIM Service of Polda Metro Jaya only serves SIM A and C renewal applications that can be made before the validity period expires.
If the validity period of the driver's license expires, it will be issued like a new driver's license.
The renewal fee in accordance with Government Regulation No. 60/2016 on Non-Tax State Revenue is IDR 80,000 for SIM A renewal and IDR 75,000 for SIM C renewal.
For renewal requirements for driver's license A or C, you must bring:
1. Copy of valid ID card,
2. Copy of old driver's license and original driver's license,
3. Proof of Health Check.
Every person who drives a vehicle on the road is required to have a driver's license according to the type of vehicle being driven.
The provisions applicable to drivers who do not have a driver's license are stipulated in Article 281.
