
Pramac Racing team rider Jorge Martin won an exciting battle against Pecco Bagnaia in the 2023 German MotoGP race.
From the start of the 2023 German MotoGP race, Jorge Martin did appear to kick off and immediately kept his distance from the front group.
Martin's pace was so consistent that he took the lead of the 2023 German MotoGP race on lap 4 from Bagnaia.
After that he tried to stay away, before finally being pursued again by the Valentino Rossi student towards the last 10 laps.
Entering the final 10 laps, the defending champion got closer and closer until the next few laps clung to Martin.
The two riders went through a heated battle in the last five laps, with the leading position being jostled several times.
Going into the last lap of the final corner, Bagnaia was forced to slow down as he nudged his rival's rear wheel.
Although it was a tight race up until the moment of crossing the finish line, in the end, Martinator was still too tough to beat at the Sachsenring.
The third step of the podium was secured by Johann Zarco, who was rewarded thanks to his crash Brad Binder.
The top five positions were then secured by VR46 Racing Team duo Marco Bezzecchi and Luca Marini.
Meanwhile, Marc Marquez, the King of Sachsenring, chose to withdraw from the race a few minutes before the start because he had been crash during the warm-up session.

Jorge Martin displaced Marco Bezzecchi, who for several weeks had kept a tight grip on Pecco Bagnaia at the top of the standings.
Now Jorge Martin has managed to increase his points coffers to 144 points, thanks to an additional 37 points in the 2023 German MotoGP.
Martin is still 16 points behind Bagnaia, who finished second at the Sachsenring.
If he can continue his impressive form over the next month, it is not impossible that Martinator will top the championship before the summer break begins.
Bagnaia must start to be wary of the appearance of the Ducati satellite team racer.
Martin's Pramac Racing team-mate Johann Zarco also managed to move up one position in the standings.
Zarco took the podium, bringing his points tally to 109 and moving Brad Binder from fourth place.
Incidentally, Zarco's podium finish was also the result of a fatal mistake by Binder, who was crash while holding position three of the race.
