Jasa Marga Ready to Escort Mudik 2022

In order to maximize services ahead of Lebaran homecoming this year, PT Jasa Marga (Persero) officially formed the Operational Alert Task Force (Satgas) Team for Eid al-Fitr 1443 H.

This team was deliberately formed to prepare for the homecoming flow, which is predicted to experience an increase in mobility, along with the government's policy of eliminating transportation restrictions.

This means that people are allowed to carry out homecoming activities safely, and responsibly according to applicable regulations.

Jasa Marga's President Director, Subakti Syukur, will also act as the Supervisor of Jasa Marga Siaga Operasional Hari Raya Idulfitri 1443 H.

According to him, the Ministry of Transportation's R&D has predicted that there will be a significant increase in traffic volume during the homecoming and return periods during Lebaran this year.

"Therefore, we need to anticipate and prepare a more mature operation service strategy, because the conditions of Lebaran this year will be different from previous years," said Subakti.

"We must ensure our readiness in providing the best service to the community," he added in Jasa Marga's official release, Tuesday (5/4/2022).

Subakti added, the Jasa Marga Siaga Task Force team will ensure the readiness of toll gate operations, rest areas, and along the toll lanes managed by Jasa Marga Group.

Including pavement conditions, drainage function, infrastructure facilities, and fulfillment of all the substance of the Minimum Service Standards (SPM) for toll roads.

"Not only regular ones, the Jasa Marga Siaga Task Force team must also anticipate the handling of emergency conditions while still paying attention to security and safety aspects, especially at points prone to traffic congestion, inundation and landslides," Subakti said again.

"Continue to apply health protocols in handling every condition, as is Jasa Marga's commitment to preventing transmission and overcoming COVID-19," he continued.

Furthermore, Subakti emphasized that health protocols will continue to be implemented in the rest area, by urging road users to continue using masks, maintain distance and not linger in the rest area.

Jasa Marga will also maintain the cleanliness of the rest area, and provide adequate service facilities, especially related to fuel needs, toilets, places of worship, parking lots, and food courts.

"We will continue to coordinate with the Police, Directorate General of Land Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation, Toll Road Regulatory Agency of the Ministry of PUPR and other relevant stakeholders in monitoring traffic flow on toll roads," said Subakti.

"As well as other necessary actions, in maintaining operational performance and service quality," he concluded.

To support maximum operational services, Jasa Marga also alerted as many as 467 operational fleet units on all toll roads in Indonesia.

Consisting of 146 towing vehicles, 121 Mobile Customer Service (MCS) vehicles, 53 ambulance vehicles, 37 rescue vehicles, 3 multipurpose vehicles, 107 Highway Patrol (PJR) vehicles.
