Don't make a habit of stepping on the gas when it rains, here's why

You will definitely get very annoyed if it suddenly rains while you are driving.

It is not uncommon for motorcyclists to rush to the gas as soon as it rains.

"The first 10 minutes or so after it rains are dangerous," says Muhammad Ali Iqbal.

He also added that when it rains, the grip of the tires to the asphalt can also be reduced.

Therefore, you should reduce your speed when it suddenly rains, instead of stepping on the gas to rush to your destination.

"After the first 10 minutes after the rain, the grip of the new tires starts to return to optimal, assuming the sand on the road has been washed away by water and the asphalt is clean," he explained.

Iqbal also reminded the use of safety riding very much needs to be familiarized.
