Jack Miller Mocked Bagnaia in 2023 Italian MotoGP

Many did not realize that Jack Miller had taunted Pecco Bagnaia at the start of the 2023 Italian MotoGP race.

From fourth position, Jack Miller made a very good start by taking the lead and passing Pecco Bagnaia.

At that moment, The Thriller then gestured a V-shaped finger at the defending champion.

As the following video shows:

Certainly not a serious taunt that could cause tension, but rather just a joke to his former teammate.

The reason Miller did this action was an expression of his happiness at that time, so he spontaneously wanted to mock the Valentino Rossi student.

"Yes. start-it was fantastic. I jumped really great," said the Red Bull KTM team rider after the race.

"I almost passed Pecco before he made a single move. I even gave him the finger signal, to celebrate my start," Brad Binder's partner explains with a laugh.

Unfortunately, despite his great start, the soon-to-be father was unable to get the best out of the 23-lap race.

Until the end of the race, the 28-year-old could only celebrate that fantastic start, not a good race.

Miller lost several positions when he was nudged by Alex Marquez, before finally fighting hard to finish seventh.

"It wasn't a good day. After the changes I often experienced understeer. I was quite slow and lost time," Miller said as reported by GridOto.com from Speedweek.

"The guys at the front could be 0.2-0.4 seconds faster than me in the last half of the race. When I braked, the bike was pretty good. But when I let go of the brake lever, the bike seemed to spin," he explained.

Fast starts have been one of the main strengths of the KTM riders at the start of this season.

With sometimes poor qualifying results, Jack Miller and Brad Binder were often able to kick off early in the race.

They were able to push up a few positions at the start of the race, before finally having to fight hard against the power of the Ducati motorbike which they still find difficult to bend.
