Injector Maintenance Can Make Gasoline Efficient

Recently, fuel prices have gone up and of course, we want our motorcycle to be more fuel efficient in order to reduce our fuel purchase expenses.

For those of you who use an injection motorcycle, it turns out that there are injector conditions that can make the motor waste gasoline.

The injector on an injection motor actually serves to distribute the fuel by making it spray like mist.

"Along with usage, the holes or injector holes can have scale," said Stanley Tjhie, Business Opportunity Development, PT Laris Chandra, STP Distributor in Indonesia as quoted from GridOto.com on Saturday (03/08/2022).

"The scale that builds up in the injector makes the gasoline particles sprayed too thick," he added.

In other words, the injector is unable to atomize the fuel optimally.

"Fuel particles that are too thick or foggy make it more difficult for many fuels to burn completely," Stanley explains.

"As a result, the motorcycle engine's gasoline consumption becomes more wasteful," he concluded when met at the Otobursa Tumplek Blek 2022 event which took place at Parkir Timur Senayan, South Jakarta.

In essence, the condition of the injector that is filled with crust turns out to make the fuel consumption of the motorcycle engine wasteful.

So, if your injected motorcycle is old, there is no harm in checking and cleaning the injectors for optimal performance.

Nowadays, most authorized and public workshops have accepted injector cleaning services for injection motors.
