IMI and Jeep Communities to Hold Jamboree

Chairman of the Indonesian Motorcycle Association (IMI) Bambang Soesatyo supports the plan to organize the 2023 Light Jeep (LJ) Series Indonesia National Jamboree to be held in Sari Ater, Subang, West Java on July 8-9.
Event organized by Bandung Light Jeep Community will be attended by 983 LJ Series Indonesia members from various regions of Indonesia, and presents more than 500 LJ cars with various types, series, functions, and forms.

"Carrying the theme 'Together We Can', various interesting activities have been prepared. Among them, fun offroadsocial service, Jimny Jangkrik/Kotrik contest, bonfire night, inter-community gathering, Suzuki LJ driving skills competition, bazaar, music performance, and coaching clinic. Most interestingly, there is also a grand prize of 1 unit of Suzuki Jimny Jangkrik as well as door prizes in the form of 1 unit of motorcycle and dozens of other interesting door prizes," said Bamsoet in his statement, Thursday (4/5/2023).

This was conveyed after receiving the National Jamboree 2023 Light Jeep (LJ) Series Indonesia committee, in Jakarta today, as quoted from Oto.Detik.com.

Bamsoet, who also serves as Chairman of the MPR, revealed that automotive community organizations such as the Bandung Light Jeep Community have also become a social force for national ties. This is thanks to the spirit of togetherness and organizational culture that is inclusive, embraces all groups, promotes family values, the spirit of solidarity and mutual cooperation.

"Bandung Light Jeep Community has also successfully built a positive image of the existence of the automotive community in the eyes of the community. Among others, through various humanitarian social actions that have been carried out. As well as various touring activities to promote tourist destinations in various regions in Indonesia," he explained.

In the context of the life of the nation and state, Bamsoet assessed that the spirit of togetherness built by the Bandung Light Jeep Community is also a manifestation of national values. According to him, this is important to fight for, considering that in the future, the times and technological advances will change the paradigm, dynamics, and complexity of various national challenges.

"The national issues are present and manifest in various phenomena. Among others, in the form of fading national identity and characteristics, the growth of radicalism, moral decadence of the nation's young generation, the development of intolerance in religious life and various other forms of national threats that erode the joints of national unity and integrity," concluded Bamsoet.

For information, the 2023 Light Jeep National Jamboree committee also attended the meeting, among others, Chief Executive Agus Ridwan, Treasurer 1 Dede Komara, and Registration Section Coordinator HD Bram.
