IIMS 2022 Officially Postponed due to Omicron

There has just been an official statement from PT Dyandra Promosindo as the organizer of the 2022 Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) that they will postpone the exhibition event.

The postponement of one of the largest automotive exhibitions in Indonesia is due to the high rate of spread of Covid-19 Omicron variants in Indonesia and the implementation of PPKM level 3 which took effect in Jabodetabek starting today, Monday (7/2/2022).

You don't need to be sad because the organizers claim to have a plan B, namely by shifting the schedule for the 2022 IIMS event.

"Dyandra Promosindo decided to shift the schedule of IIMS Hybrid 2022 which was originally planned for February 17-27, 2022 to an alternative date (Plan B) that has been prepared previously with JIExpo Kemayoran, namely March 31-April 10, 2022," Dyandra Promosindo wrote in its official statement, Monday (7/2/2022).

As the organizer, Dyandra Promosindo also admitted that it will comply and fully support the government's recommendations.

"We are ready to adapt to a schedule that is considered conducive to organizing exhibitions. We hope that the government's provisions will run effectively and efficiently so that the Industrial sector, including automotive and its supporting industries, can run normally again," he said.

IIMS 2022 was originally planned to take place from February 17 to 27, 2022 at JiExpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.

The exhibition is open to the public with an entrance ticket price of 150 thousand rupiah (premium), 50 thousand rupiah (weekdays) and IDR 70 thousand (weekend).

Several brand holding agents have also confirmed their participation in this event, including BMW, DFSK, Honda, Hyundai, MG, Mitsubishi, Suzuki, Tesla, Toyota, Wuling and several other automotive brands.

In addition, this event is also confirmed to be Chery's debut at the Indonesian auto show, after deciding to enter the show. comeback to the Indonesian market.
