Honda Releases New CBR250RR

Recently, PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) officially launched their new motorcycle, the Honda New CBR250RR.

As quoted from Gridoto.com, The launch of the Honda New CBR250RR was carried out at AHM's Karawang plant, West Java, on Monday (19/9/2022).

The appearance of the New CBR250RR was a surprise, as Honda was heavily rumored to launch the 2022 Vario 125 at the event.

Regardless, Keiichi Yasuda, as President Director of AHM, believes that the changes to the New Honda CBR250RR can further attract the attention of Indonesian consumers.

"The New CBR250RR is produced with high technology at the AHM Karawang factory. In some parts, this engine technology adopts the same level of accuracy as the Big Bike models," said Yasuda-san, Monday (9/19/2022).

"We hope to continue to realize the best quality to provide driving pleasure for Honda consumers," said Yasuda.

Honda has made a number of changes to the New CBR250RR compared to its predecessor.

One of them is the slightly improved engine performance, through the use of a 250 cc 2-cylinder DOHC 8-valve engine.

The Honda New CBR250RR is now claimed to be able to produce 42 horsepower at 13,000 RPM and up to 25 Nm of torque at 11,000 RPM.

In other words, up one horsepower compared to the previous Honda CBR250RR with a maximum power of 41 dk at 12,500 RPM and 25 Nm of torque at 11,000 RPM.

The other most noticeable change on the Honda New CBR250RR is the inclusion of a new front suspension, which now uses the Showa SFF-Big Piston.

The Honda New CBR250RR itself is offered in three types, namely SP-Quick Shifter (SP QS) with a price tag of Rp 79,200,000 On The Road (OTR) Jakarta.

The Honda New CBR250RR SP is marketed at Rp 75,150,000 OTR Jakarta, and the standard variant at Rp 62,850,000 OTR Jakarta.
