Drama Before HDCI's National Conference

Quoted from GridOto.com, Ahead of the HDCI National Conference, there was a heated drama between the two candidates.

Hot drama is known to be happening within HDCI (Harley-Davidson Club Indonesia) these days.

Given that HDCI will hold a munaslub (extraordinary national meeting) to determine the new chairman, which will be held in early 2023.

Two big names are also said to be running for the HDCI Chair at the munaslub, namely Komjen Pol (Ret.) Nanan Soekarna and Deputy Chairman of Commission III DPR RI, Ahmad Sahroni.

It's just that when the HDCI National Conference was approaching, there was a hot drama that occurred between the two candidates for chairman.

Starting from Nanan Soekarna who said that HDCI was now divided into two camps, namely internal and external camps.

The internal camp is said to support Nanan Soekarna to run as a candidate for HDCI chairman.

Then the external camp, are those who support caketum from external parties.

"In this case Ahmad Sahroni (being an external candidate) is their right, and many expect me to appear from within," he said, quoted from his Instagram account. @hdcibogor.

Not only that, Nanan also clarified his photo with Ahmad Sahroni which had circulated on social media.

He said that he did not support Sahroni to become the HDCI Caketum.

"That is the context in which the person concerned apologized and stated that he would withdraw from the candidacy for Chairman of HDCI," he added.

Regarding this, Yovie Megananda Santosa as the Commander of the Road Glide Owners Group Indonesia also denied it.

He even mentioned that Ahmad Sahroni was a candidate for chairman from within HDCI.

"Ahmad Sahroni KTA No. 13.01.05416.080000.1, the sole candidate (from within HDCI) for HDCI General Chairman at the upcoming munaslub," he wrote, quoted from his Instagram account. @panglima_rgog.indonesia.

According to Yovie, Sahroni is relatively new among HDCI members.

It's just that his commitment to advancing HDCI moved many people to support him.

"But we heard and saw for ourselves his statement, to make HDCI a champion and special which God willing will be realized," he added.
