OTO Tips

Don't just change the motor oil, adjust it to its capacity!

It's a good idea to pay attention to this when changing the oil. There is something you should not do often, which is to fill too much oil on an automatic motorcycle.

When filling or changing motorcycle oil, you must always look at the dosage or volume of oil recommended by the manufacturer for the type of motor used.

Generally, this oil recommendation can be seen in the area of crankcase CVT or near the oil fill hole.

Currently, the motorcycle oil dose ranges from 650-900 ml only.

That's why the oil packaging for automatic motorcycles is usually 800 ml while ducks can be 1,000 ml or 1 liter.

Even in the new matic motorcycles such as BeAT and Genio, the volume of oil is even less. Only 650 ml. Some motorcycles such as the NMAX or Aerox can be 0.9 liters, but on average it is less than 1 liter for regular replacement.

It is recommended that when changing automatic motor oil, do not change too much even if it is only 100 ml difference.

As a result of too much oil, the circulation also becomes heavy in the engine, the performance of the motor can even decrease.

Not to mention that too much oil in an automatic motorcycle can usually go up to the air filter through the air hose, then the air filter will be damaged if it is exposed to oil.

We recommend that when doing an engine oil change, find out first how much oil volume your motorcycle engine oil needs.

Before changing, you must use a measuring cup and fit it to measure the volume of the oil, don't let it be too much because too much oil can make the pull heavy.
