Do this to keep your bike's brake lever from getting hard!

Over time, some components on our motorcycles will inevitably experience a decline in performance. Not only the parts on the engine, some other components will also feel less good. One of the components on the motorcycle that may also experience a decline in performance is the brake lever. The brake lever that used to be soft and bouncy can become solid and hard, making it feel uncomfortable when you ride. There is a simple way to make your hardened disc brake lever soft again when pressed. This method is easy for you to practice at home because you don't need to disassemble any components on the motorcycle.

With use, the disc brake lever can become hard. This usually happens because the piston in the brake master is stuck and not moving smoothly. Over time, the brake master piston can become dry and even crusty due to frequent exposure to water and dust. This can happen more frequently and quickly with brake masters that are in poor condition. seal The brake master was damaged.

To solve this problem is not too difficult. You can make the motorcycle disc brake lever that starts to get hard again soft actually easy, just spray penetrant towards the brake master piston, usually it will immediately feel softer when pressed.

The easiest way is to use a bottled penetrant that usually comes with a small hose to direct the spray. All you have to do is direct the hose of the penetrant bottle between the seal brake master so that the penetrant fluid lubricates the pistons.

If you don't have bottled penetrant fluid, you can also use other lubricants such as engine oil that you can apply towards the brake master piston. To keep the brake lever feeling soft when pressed, you can repeat this method once every month.
