Basrizal Koto Legally Serves as Chairman of MBI Advisory Board

Recently, Basrizal Koto was appointed as Chairman of the Advisory Board of Motor Besar Indonesia (MBI). Chairman of the Indonesian Motorcycle Association (IMI) and Chairman of the MBI Board of Trustees, Bambang Soesatyo, appreciated Basrizal's willingness to strengthen MBI as a businessman and automotive enthusiast.
As quoted from Detik.com, "The presence of Mr. Basrizal Koto in the MBI family must be an additional encouragement for all MBI members in various parts of Indonesia. Especially in actualizing the MBI organization as a large motorbike community that is inclusive and embraces all circles, with a spirit of unlimited brotherhood, which requires MBI as a big house and a shared house in reaching various automotive lovers from various walks of life," Bamsoet said in his statement, Sunday (8/1/2023).

The Chairman of the MPR RI explained that various records of achievement and positive images had been inscribed by MBI. Both in building a spirit of solidarity through various humanitarian social actions, socializing the spirit of togetherness and inclusiveness in building the automotive community. MBI, he said, also established partnership synergies and active participation in supporting various government programs, especially as a 'Tourism Ambassador' by promoting the automotive tourism program as a driver of the people's economic recovery.

"With qualified leadership and a reliable network, the presence of Mr. Basrizal Koto will further make MBI progress and develop. Especially in building a positive image of the large motorcycle community, amidst the negative assumptions and apathy of some members of the public towards the existence of automotive clubs, especially motorcycle clubs with large engine capacity," explained Bamsoet.

The Golkar Party Vice Chairman explained that with Basrizal Koto's support, MBI must also be able to answer various organizational challenges. This includes making MBI not only a social force based on the hobby community, but also a social force that glues the unity of the nation as well as an economic force that creates more young entrepreneurs, and mobilizes the MSME sector.

"Especially now that we are in an improved condition in the health sector and socio-economic life, after almost 2 years of struggling with the COVID-19 pandemic, all elements of the nation, including MBI, must be able to seize opportunities and optimize the momentum of this awakening as well as possible," said Bamsoet.
