Bagnaia wins in Spain thanks to Rossi's advice

Recently, at the Jerez Circuit, Pecco Bagnaia won the 2023 Spanish MotoGP race. What made the victory even more special was that he won in front of his teacher, Valentino Rossi.

Pecco Bagnaia ended the nightmare in the previous two series, after the Ducati rider twice crash and lost 45 precious points.

But who would have thought, there was a role for Valentino Rossi in the student's special victory at Jerez.

It turns out that The Doctor had given special advice so that the 2022 MotoGP champion did not crash again like in Argentina and America.

Rossi understands that there is a slight psychological problem that makes it difficult for the 26-year-old rider to admit mistakes.

However, inevitably, the defending champions must realize their mistakes in order to rise.

"I talked to him, it's not easy to get back up after we fall," he was quoted as saying. GridOto.com .

"This is not an easy thing to acknowledge and overcome," the mentor explains.

Uniquely, the nine-time world champion even gave rather odd advice to teammate Enea Bastianini.

"I just told him he had to go slow, but he managed to win anyway," the 44-year-old explains with a laugh.

Whether true or not, the reality is that two crash Bagnaia's previous experience was also due to the rider going too fast.

Bagnaia was considered to be pushing too hard when pressed by other riders from behind, to crash at crucial moments.

However, in Sunday's race (30/4), the number 1 rider kept his cool and didn't push at the front from the start.

When he was chased by Brad Binder in the final laps, Bagnaia did not force the escape and stayed away.
