Steps to Use Aerosol Spray Paint
- Prepare the surface properly
- Sand the wet substrate with coarse sandpaper first if necessary, then smooth it with number 800 sandpaper.
- Wash again thoroughly using soap.
- Dry with a microfiber cloth and let it dry completely.
- Use silver as the base color
Before applying the main color, spray silver paint as a base coat so that the chosen color is not wasted and the results are maximized. - Shake the can before use
Make sure to shake the paint can for approximately 1 minute until the contents are evenly mixed. - Set distance and spray technique
- Spray from a distance of ±30 cm.
- Don't stop at one point, make constant sideways movements.
- Avoid spraying thickly all at once. It's better to spray thinly, let it dry, then repeat gradually.
- Use clear coat/varnish
Once the main color is finished, spray on a layer of clear coat for a glossier, more protected, and longer-lasting finish. - Dry properly
Allow the paint to dry in a shaded and slightly warm place, but avoid direct sunlight.
