Honda and Marc Marquez seem to be really frustrated in the development of the RC213V bike for the 2023 MotoGP world championship.
Now Honda is asking for help from other manufacturers to build the chassis for Marc Marquez and his friends in the 2023 MotoGP.
The manufacturer that will be assisting Honda is Kalex, which has been the most successful constructor in the Moto2 world championship for the past decade.
Kalex has been chosen by the flapping wing manufacturer to produce its chassis, after the Honda RC213V motorbike has experienced performance problems since 2020.
As quoted from GridOto.comThis is not the first time the German brand has supplied components to the Japanese giant.
Last year for example, swing arm Kalex has been attached to Marc Marquez's bike and is still using it.
The team led by Alberto Puig has actually managed to bring upgrade a very powerful machine in 2023.
The engine is much more savage and powerful, but there are many downsides to this savagery.
The RC213V became more difficult to control, especially in cornering and braking.
One of the problems is thought to be the chassis, unfortunately all the chassis they have produced have not been successful.
That's why they wanted to try a new solution by using the chassis from the brand Other.
In this way, Alberto Puig and the rest of the top brass have seemingly scrapped their old, more rigid approach, to become more open like the European manufacturers.
Stefan Bradl tested the chassis in a private test at Jerez and it will be refined in the coming weeks.
Bradl will again be scheduled to test it at the 2023 Spanish MotoGP on April 30 by becoming the wildcard.
It is still unclear when HRC's main riders will try it out in a race.
